Well done all - 10,000 plus hits BobT

Well done guys makes this a well read blog - hats off to all contributors - hope that we soon have Carole back with her Trading statistics - she has been very unwell and know you will all join me in welcoming her back soon.

Only got time for a quick posting today - my selection VFB naps table
2.10 at Bangor  P Bowen and Richard Johnson don't often team up and when they do  they have a 21% strike rate.  Today this race Richard Johnson has a 24% strike rate from 98 rides at Bangor which - No Panic does act on soft ground and is a distance animal that has to find around 4lbs on the official handicap. Is a left handed animal that at 7 is capable of improvement - trouble is he does Idle when in front even for Tom O'Brien so though its my Vfb Nap today at around the current 12/1 industry and 16s betfair its a Btl bet for me 80/20 top weight at 11-12 could anchor him if the ground gets any worse

Result -  SUMMERY JUSTICE had run just twice before over fences so lacked the experience of most of his rivals. His trainer had been concerned about the 3m trip first time out, the gelding having pulled up on his one previous try over this far, but he stayed on well to wear down the winner at the last and was not stopping at the end. There is more to come from him when the emphasis is on stamina and hopefully this was a sign of a return to form for his stable, which has not been firing.

Buffalo Bob had his ground on this seasonal return. He produced a bold display from the front and was only caught at the final fence, but he was tired up the run-in and would have been only fourth with a little further to run. This was a very solid effort and he is capable of winning off his current mark.

as for my poor nap ! - In touch, not fluent 3rd, lost place 6th, struggling after 10th, jumped slowly 12th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out had backed to lay before i went out so no harm done -- looked up the stable notes (after the race of course) "He’s been really consistent and has been running well but will now probably have a little break and come back for the Scottish National, in which he was third last year. He might have a run over hurdles first, but Ayr will be his aim now he’s a year stronger - 03/11/2010"
have added notes to the top two who I thought ran a cracking race and will go on for this - It's a largely unrecognised race in the calender  includes Nenuphar Colonges and That´s Rhythm amongst its recent winners.
